October concert blitz: 5 cities in 12 days!

Sep. 16, 2004

As the presidential campaign heats up, so too does the fall campaign for The Poetry of Donald Rumsfeld. In October, the Weapons of Mass Distraction Tour will roll throughout California, with five concerts in five cities in twelve days!

First up, on Oct. 10, is a concert at Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, where CNN, Reuters, and German television filmed our CD Release Concert in March.

Next comes a three-city swing through Northern California, starting with a Benefit Concert in Nevada City on Oct. 13, and followed by two well-regarded concert series in the San Francisco Bay Area—the Noe Valley Music Series in San Francisco on Oct. 16 and the Berkeley Arts Festival on Oct. 19.

The blitz wraps up with two stops in the Los Angeles area. The final concert is at Scripps College in Claremont on Oct. 21, but even that's not all. Elender and Bryant will then return to Santa Monica on Oct. 24 to perform Album Highlights and sign CDs at Borders Books & Music.

Details for all events, including location and ticket information, are in our Tour Dates section. We hope to see many of you at a show soon!

Artists continue support of Kerry campaign

Sep. 14, 2004

Since the Poetry of Donald Rumsfeld is such a big hit in the political arena, it's only natural that Elender Wall and Bryant Kong are continuing their support of the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign this fall. The artists are performing at several fundraising events and also giving a few benefit concerts of their own.

Appearances in September include Operation Artistic Freedom on Sep. 5, a Los Angeles house party supporting freedom of expression in the arts and media and benefiting the Democratic National Committee; 86 Bush on Sep. 8, a San Francisco wine & food extravaganza supporting MoveOn.org; and two Los Angeles House Parties for Kerry on Sep. 19 organized by the legal community and benefiting the campaign's legal and accounting fund.

On Oct. 13, the Weapons of Mass Distraction Tour comes to Nevada City north of Sacramento with a Benefit Concert for America Coming Together.

If you're in the area, come on out for good music, good fun, and to support the effort to return integrity to the White House. Details for all events, including location and ticket information, are in our Tour Dates section.
